Student Competition

The annual NAHB Student Competition is one of the highlights of the International Builders’ Show (IBS). The competition gives students the opportunity to apply skills learned in the classroom to a real construction company by completing a management project/proposal. Proposals are submitted to a group of construction company executives who act as judges.

The 2025 NAHB Student Competition will be held live at the 2025 International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, Feb. 24-26, 2025. Schedules are now available. Keep in mind that these schedules are subject to change. As a reminder, anyone attending the International Builders' Show may watch the presentations in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Four-Year Custom/Small Home Build Competition will be livestreamed on the NAHBTV channel, and the Four-Year and Graduate Programs Production Home Build Competition will be livestreamed on the NAHB Student Chapters Facebook page.
